Do you offer private rooms in the nursing care neighborhood?2026-03-15T20:51:44-04:00

Yes, Webster At Rye offers both private and semi-private rooms.

Do you have an appropriate activity program?2026-03-15T20:50:14-04:00

We offer a wide variety of programming designed to meet an individual’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

Our activity staff seeks to know each individual’s interests and hobbies so an appropriate activity program can be planned that will be both therapeutic and enjoyable.

Additionally, our Memory Care activity program incorporates It’s Never 2 Late (IN2L), a computerized interactive media program designed specifically to assist individuals with memory care issues.

What is the difference between assisted living, nursing care and memory care?2026-04-02T14:58:28-04:00

Under Assisted Living regulations, a facility provides assistance to individuals with activities of daily living; however, the person providing assistance is not required to be a licensed healthcare worker. Additionally, a licensed nurse is not required to be in the community more than eight hours a day. At Webster At Rye, we provide 24-hour care by licensed staff. The payment source for Assisted Living is usually private resources. Webster At Rye does not accept Medicaid as a payment source for our Assisted Living services.

Nursing Care will provide more services than Assisted Living and requires licensed staff to be on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This allows the nursing care neighborhood to generally be able to handle more complex medical issues than could be provided in Assisted Living. The payment sources for a Nursing Care neighborhood are an individual’s private resources, Medicaid or Medicare (if the facility is certified as skilled care) and long-term care insurance. Webster At Rye accepts all these payment sources for our Nursing Care services.

Memory Care is designed to assist those who are unable to safely remain at home due to memory loss or other cognitive impairments. A need for increased levels of personal care, social activities and programs, and a safe environment often can’t be provided by one caregiver alone. Memory care is designed to enrich residents’ lives through nursing care, engaging activities for socialization, and providing a safe and nurturing environment.

What happens when Assisted Living is not enough?2026-03-15T20:35:43-04:00

In many cases, your loved one will be able to receive end-of-life care through palliative and/or hospice support here in our assisted living neighborhood. However, there may come a time when assisted living is not enough. If your loved one requires around-the-clock nursing support by medical staff, our nursing care community may be most appropriate.

Do you provide transportation to appointments and will you pick up admissions from the hospital?2026-01-22T17:09:01-05:00

Yes, transportation to appointments is available when scheduled in advance. We respectfully request that a family member accompany or meet the resident at the appointment. Transportation fees will apply.

We will pick up admissions free of charge from the hospital providing that it is medically safe to do so. In advanced medical cases, the hospital or discharging facility will determine the most appropriate transportation and make the necessary arrangements.

What happens when Memory Care is not enough?2026-03-15T20:37:51-04:00

In many cases, your loved one will be able to receive end-of-life care through palliative and/or hospice support here in our Memory Care community. However, there may come a time when memory care is not enough. If your loved one requires around-the-clock nursing support by medical staff, our nursing care community may be most appropriate.

Do you offer therapy services?2026-04-02T15:12:44-04:00
