Sister Paula Marie Buley, IHM became Rivier University’s twelfth president in August 2011. During her tenure she led the University community in developing its first strategic plan “Delivering on the Promise to Transform Hearts and Minds to Serve the World” inclusive of academic programs of distinction, the expansion of online learning, enhanced grant writing resources, and the development of a campus master resulting in the “The Gateway Projects.” Sister Paula has served in executive Vice President for Administration at Seton Hall University, Executive Vice President and Treasurer, Mount St. Mary University and Vice President for Finance at Immaculata University. She holds an Ed.D in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in Catholics Studies from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Villanova University.
